What Is Stopping You

Some food for thought.

If not now….when?

If a healthy diet and exercise plan doesn’t fit into your life right now, then when? What stops you? Lack of knowledge….thoughts creeping in….all or nothing mentality…..you don’t even know where to begin…..too much weight to lose? If we give it enough thought and often times we give it too much thought (think analysis paralysis), we can always find some reason not to do something.

I may be focused on healthy diets and exercise right now, but think for a moment all the other times you have hesitated and everything else you may be missing out on. How many opportunities have you missed? How many times have you let doubt get the best of you? How many times have you second guessed yourself?

Whether it’s a healthy diet, an exercise plan, writing a book, changing jobs, pursuing your passion….name it…..maybe it’s time to just dive in. Rather than thinking about what could happen, think about what you could be missing out on. Rather than thinking about all the things that could go wrong, think about all the great things that could come out of diving in.

Let’s get back to that healthy diet and exercise. If not now…..then why not now? Is it those thoughts of doubt? As a gym owner and someone whose passion is health and fitness, I would like to share something with you. If walking into the gym intimidates you, let me share with you what’s going on from our perspective. We are super excited you came in. The last thing in the world we want is for you to feel intimidated. We want your experience to be welcoming and warm. We’re humbled you chose us. If you want to ask us questions about what to eat and about your exercise program but that voice in your head tells you, “you’re a bother, don’t do it.” I’m here to say…always ask! We welcome your questions. We want you to have the best experience every day. If you think you have too much weight to lose. I’m here to say…everyone starts somewhere. Don’t let all those negative thoughts, self-doubt and naysayers stop you from missing out!!
